John Ward graduated cum laude with a BA in studio art and music in 1989 from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, a small liberal arts college in North Carolina, which is also the state where he grew up. Over the years he has worked in graphic design/advertising, as a public school art teacher, as a presentation graphics designer and assistant to business professors and speakers in executive education, and recently at Emory as an administrative assistant in its theology school and human resources division before coming to the Department of Theater Studies. John greatly enjoys the artistic and academic-based environment of the theater department, as well as its passionate and creative students and faculty.
