Joe Monaghan is a graduate of the University of Virginia (BA) and of the University of Connecticut (MFA). He is an Associate Artist with Actor's Express Theatre, where he was the Resident Lighting and Sound Designer from 2003 until 2008, and Production Manager from 2002 until 2008.
Other design credits include lighting and/or sound designs for Theatre Emory, Theatrical Outfit, Theatre in the Square, Horizon Theatre, 7 Stages, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Screaming Madman Productions, The Wayside Theatre, Playhouse on the Square and The Circuit Playhouse and CAST.
Joe has twice been nominated for a Suzi Bass award for Best Sound Design, once for Turned Funny at Theatre in the Square, and once for the World Premier production of Octopus at Actor's Express.
