Hunter Hanger graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University in Virginia and the British Institute in Florence, Italy with a BA degree in theater and art history. After coming to Atlanta in 1998 to work for Kaiser Permanente’s educational theater troupe, he moved into the city’s non-profit arts community, working for several organizations including the Atlanta History Center, the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art and the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts. He has also worked in the development department of The Frick Collection and the design studios of Banana Republic in New York City. He volunteers at the Swan House in Atlanta and writes about arts and culture for David magazine.
